I get this news letter from 'Daily Candy' (dailycandy.com) and they came out with a great pic for dog accessories. I am cutting and pasting what they put. Check it out especially if you have a cute little dog. I've been meaning to get one, so I saved the email.

"It’s raining (more like snowing) cats and dogs. Get your pooch prepared.
Snow and salt wreaks havoc on Puppy’s feet. Stock up on Pawz
(http://www.pawzdogboots.com), disposable rubber boots in a bevy of colors that he can actually walk in.
It’s your fault Precious is a princess. Stash Wagwear’s messenger pouch (http://www.wagwear.com/catalog/detail.asp?id=cat43&x=15) (holds dogs up to fourteen pounds) in your purse for those moments when she refuses to take another step.
You can’t blame Snuggles for not wanting to crouch down on the cold, wet ground. Investing in a Poop Tent (http://www.benjiventures.com) could save you both some serious frustration.
A fur coat may seem sufficient, but subzero temps will leave your pooch shivering unless he has a down parka (http://www.caninestyles.com/apparel_parkas.php).
Muffet’s an under-the-covers snuggler? Buy her a sleeping bag (http://www.trixieandpeanut.com/beds/137598.html) and salvage your fancy bed linens.
Be sure Marley wears a jazzy collar (http://www.mymascot.com/Search.aspx?l=00010000000000000000) or harness (http://www.pawpalaceonline.com/puppia-soft-mesh-harness-colors-available...) with her pet license (http://www.caninestyles.com/idtags_license.php) attached, just in case she gets lost.
Proving that you are way more than just a fair weather friend."

since my dog is living with my mom till we can buy our condo(our apts. dont allow dogs) i bought her a parka looking thing like that and lil boots for when she goes outside in the snow..i knew she would wear the jacket because she wear sweaters and pjs all the time but i was suprised she tolerates the boots! Now before someone attacks me because i put shoes on my dog, fifi is very spoiled and even if the ground is a little we she wont step on it so thats why i got the boots thinking she could still enjoy the outside when its gloomy!
1That's funny about your dog and his/her feet. I think the booties are a great idea. Even though I don't have a dog right now, I grew up with them. I am looking to get a cute little small dog for my apartment, but I have to somehow convince my landlord. I think I will come up with a good excuse. I mean other dogs live in my building, why can't I have one now???? LOL. So maybe when I get my dog, I can get those cute little outfits my mother has her little dog in. Does anyone know of a good shelter in NYC for dog adoption?? Thanks
2im not a fan of doggies wearing clothes cos the climate here is so darn hot im always afraid they're so warm its uncomfy. but i guess if its in a cool temp then its ok? i gotta admit, the outfits are getting cuter and cuter
